Although many metalheads believably feign that Swedish guitar shredder Yngwie J. Jennifer Lopez - Lopez Sued Over Dog Bite


JENNIFER LOPEZ is at the centre of a $5 million (GBP2.5 million) lawsuit after her pet dog allegedly attacked an air stewardess.

Lisa Wilson filed suit in New York's Brooklyn Federal Court on Thursday (26Jun08) claiming that the singer/actress' dog Floyd "lunged" at her when she walked past him during a flight in 2006.

Wilson claims she fell over after she was bitten and needed surgery for debilitating back pain, reports TMZ.com.

A spokesman for Lopez is unavailable for comment as WENN goes to press.

The Kooks' Luke Pritchard: 'Arctic Monkeys Have Died In America'

The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard says he believes that the Arctic Monkeys career in America has flat-lined.



In comparison, the singer said that The Kooks were “really going great” in the US thanks to some high profile radio play.



“Arctic Monkeys have just died over there. They were huge for their first album but it hasn’t happened with the second one,” Pritchard told the Sun newspaper.



Earlier this year, Pritchard revealed that the Kooks and the Arctic Monkeys had fallen out over an incident at a festival in France.



He claimed that Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner had pulled his guitar cord out during the band's performance.

Despite the band name, Facing New York herald from the toughie rock mecca of the San Francisco Bay Area scene, a second-generation emo band with some progressive and post-rock tendencies that grew verboten of deuce minor earlier outfits. Singer and guitarist Eric Frederic and keyboardist Rene Carranza's band, Locale A.M., had released iI albums, 2001's The Sounds of Spring and 2003's Breaking the Fourth Wall, earlier ripping. Their labelmates on the local Pop Smear imprint, Tragedy Andy, had released 2003's It's Never Too Late to Start Over earlier guitarist Matthew Fazzi and drummer Omar Cuellar took its titular advice and left to form Facing New York with Frederic and Carranza in early 2004, adding bassist Brandon Canchola to complete the lineup. Joining the 2004 Vans Warped Tour and recording a self-released EP, Swimming Not Treading, the band embossed its visibility enough to sign with the indie label Five One Records. Following iI more singles, one of them a split EP with Amity, Facing New York released their self-titled debut album in the summer of 2005. Work on the follow-up was delayed when Rene Carranza announced in the summer of 2006 that he was departure the band to render to school. With Fazzi and Frederic splitting keyboard chores between them, Facing New York chose to keep as a foursome.
